Year:
2026
Sector:
Nursery
Project Duration :
5 Days

Project Summary
VertiGreen is a conceptual mobile app designed for a modern nursery brand offering indoor and outdoor plants. The goal was to create a calm, nature-inspired shopping experience that feels premium, intuitive, and accessible for everyone.
The Challenge
Buying plants online can feel overwhelming-especially for beginners. Most plant apps overload users with options, dense information, and aggressive sales elements.
The challenge was to:
Simplify plant discovery
Reduce decision fatigue
Build trust through clean, calm UI
Present care information clearly without clutter

Design Goals
My goals were simple, and clear.
Create a peaceful, nature-driven interface
Establish a clear visual hierarchy across all screens
Make plant care information scannable
Guide users smoothly from discovery to checkout
Brand & Visual Direction
VertiGreen's visual identity is rooted in nature and simplicity.
Tone: Calm, fresh, modern
Color Direction: Green-led palette balanced with soft neutrals
Typography: Clean sans-serif with strong hierarchy
UI Style: Minimal cards, soft shadows, generous spacing
The design avoids visual noise to let the plants remain the hero.

User Flow
The app follows a simple and intuitive flow:
Onboarding → Sign In → Home → Product Details → Cart → Checkout → Order Confirmation
Each step was designed to reduce friction and maintain consistency.

Key Screens & Design Decisions
Home Screen
The home screen acts as a discovery hub:
Search for quick access
Curated plant sections
A subtle offer banner to encourage exploration
The layout balances content and breathing space, ensuring a calm browsing experience.
Product Details
Each plant has a dedicated details page featuring:
High-quality imagery
Clear pricing
Essential care information (light, water, difficulty)
A strong primary call-to-action
Information is structured for fast scanning on mobile.
Cart & Checkout
The checkout experience focuses on clarity and trust:
Clean order summary
Clear CTA hierarchy
Minimal distractions during payment
Order Confirmation
The confirmation screen provides closure and reassurance, reinforcing confidence in the purchase and the brand.

Considerations
The Ul system was designed to be scalable, allowing future features such as:
Wishlists
Plant care reminders
Subscriptions
Personal recommendations
Outcome & Learnings
This project strengthened my understanding of:
UI hierarchy and spacing
Calm, lifestyle-focused design
Designing complete user flows instead of isolated screens
